This unique, colorful, and all around funky duster jacket was inspired by Darn Good Yarn's own Crafty Crochet Countess, Lorene. This kit includes the pattern, enough skeins of Sari Silk Ribbon, and 2 skeins of Irish Hills Lux Adventure for the collar. Additional notes are given so it will accommodate many sizes.

I am really enjoying knitting this Kimono and blending the colors The pattern is well written and easy to follow! I love the textures this silk ribbon yarn creates! I have used some of the silk ribbons I had bought previously to give a richness to the Kimono. I am so glad I bought this kit!!
I just finished the knitting part of the project. I cannot wait to complete the assembly of the collar. Such rich colours! And what about the variety of textures provided by the different saris used to make the ribbon yarn! I'm already in love!
But everyone knows that . I havent started this project yet since I have 3 going at one time...T he Kimono kit ribbon is beautiful and I cant wait . Maybe Ill have 4 projects going!
I am currently working on it and it is turning out great. Actually easier to knit than I thought. Thank you
The stitches are straightforward and the pattern is easy to follow. For those who have not used this type of material, the ribbon is not easy to work with. It is harsh to the hand, doesn't slide easily across the needles, and frays and splits. If you're a speed knitter, you will not enjoy working with this. If you're willing to be patient, it's lovely to look at once knitted. The variations in color and texture are wonderful and create a unique garment.
