Return/Exchange Policy

Here at Darn Good Yarn, we want your online shopping experience to be the best online shopping experience you've ever had; as perfect and as painless as possible.

To proceed, you will need an order number and the email address associated with the order. Please have these ready before starting the returns process.

All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You can easily obtain a RMA number by clicking on the button below. Returns without an RMA number are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

If we make a mistake, we will always make it right at no expense to you. Please click on the button below and start a return request.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for a refund or exchange within 60 days of purchase unless noted otherwise on the product page. To qualify for a refund, the items must be returned in original condition and unworn. It is your responsibility to pay for the order to be returned. After your return/exchange is approved, you will have 60 days to return the product before the RMA becomes void. Please Note: All subscription products are final sale, as are closeout, items on sale bins, BOGO deal, other promotions and final sale items (as the name implies). These items cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you are exchanging 2 or more items, there will be a $5 fee to cover shipping new product to you. An invoice will be emailed to you upon receipt of the returned items. Please don't send cash or checks to cover the $5 fee.

Items from bundle deal (excluding any mystery or final sale items) are individually eligible to exchange for any item that is of equal or lesser value than the original item's full price. If you would like a whole refund or exchange, the whole bundle or all BOGO products must be returned.

For One-of-a-Kind products and/or products where you specified color preferences, please include your color preferences (if applicable) under ‘Provide any additional information’ during the return process. See the figure below. Please note that sometimes, due to limited stock, the requested colors may not be available, and our warehouse will fulfill the order to ensure timely delivery. Please note that if you used rewards points for an order you wish to return, those rewards cannot be reactivated or refunded. For this reason, we recommend considering keeping the order if possible to retain the value of your rewards. Aside from rewards, the original shipping fee and the return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund amount of the order.
