Patterns and Wooden knitting bowl

Haven't used patterns yet, but definitely will - have the knitting bowl and it is delightful to me as I really love wood. The patterns are so interesting because of yarn usage and because they are not too difficult - the wow factor comes from using interesting yarn but other yarn could also be substituted.

This is a great pattern

This is a great pattern to show how beautiful the Bahamas recycled silk ribbon yarn. I am going to put a lining in it to give it a little more body. I found some great burlap to use for the strap, with some of the leftover yarn woven into it. My co-worker loves the pattern also and is waiting for the seafoam silk ribbon yarn to be back in stock to make a purse for her daughter. The purse I made is going to my daughter-in-law, so I guess I am going to have to order more yarn, perhaps in a different color, to make one for myself.
