I like that there are

I like that there are several pictures of the item on the website, as well as a sketch with dimensions in the pattern. I also like the shape of the sleeves. However, the pattern only comes in one side, the front panels are very narrow, and neckline much too open to my taste. I am not skilled enough in knitting to modify these, so I will not knit this pattern.

Great beginner pattern but written for only one size

Simple garter stitch pattern to showcase variegated yarn. Note pattern is an oversized open cardi... the back is 23.5" wide & each front panel is 6" wide, so it's intended to be worn loose & wide open. The sleeves are balloon shaped with a long cuff. Too bad the pattern is written in only one size, it would be easy to modify but they really should have included at least 2 more sizes to assist beginners... otherwise it's an easy enough pattern for beginners.

Love the vivid, bright colors
