I could find so many uses for this. Besides knitting or crocheting with it I could use it for making jewellery, wrapping a special gift, scrapbooking, mixed media fibre art, soooo many craft ideas.

Love this ribbon yarn!

I often order things that I just love with no apparent reason or project in mind... yes, it leads to having a lot of stuff but at least I always have what I need when inspiration strikes at 2am! Well, this ribbon was something I purchased with no particular project in mind. I often let the materials speak to me and it always tells me what it wants to be... haha. This was no exception... I kept seeing it in my craft room and I would occasionally pet it in passing...I have a bunch in different colors just sitting around and one day about a year after I purchased this in every color scheme, inspiration struck...it wanted to be some sort of tapestry...I gently and lovingly ironed out sections of the ribbon just to get it to lie a little flat and then I fused it to backing... creating the most beautiful piece of fabric that I used for a special project for a friend who has a yoga/massage/meditation studio. I made so many beautiful things with this! The colors, textures and patterns are all different thus creating the most beautiful organic art... challenge yourself to create something different than just using it as yarn... the possibilities are endless! Im a fan of Darn good yarn and I support their cause so no matter what I purchase from them, I know it helps support a cause close to my heart. Doesnt get any better than that! Now, if I could figure out how to post a picture!! Seriously, can someone tell me? Haha
