Beautiful yarn and pattern

This yarn is BEAUTIFUL. I bought the California Skies colorway. I've never worked with a lace weight yarn, so I was nervous, but it has worked together so easily. The appearance of the shawl makes the pattern seem much trickier than it is. I love it so much I'm planning to try and use it again as the basis for a blanket. It's just so pretty.

Beautiful yarn and pattern.

The way the pattern works out, the colors really are like colorful hummingbirds at play. Once you have gone through the repeat rows a couple of times, you most likely will have the pattern at least partially memorized. It is not a difficult pattern in my opinion. This is going to be a lovely shawl that will be a pleasure to wear.
