Why was my order cancelled and refunded?

Orders Flagged as Suspicious or Fraudulent

At Darn Good Yarn®, we take the protection of personal information and abuse of that information very seriously. We proactively manage the everyday occurrence of fraud against the community and the team we have at Darn Good Yarn®.

If the Shopify algorithms detect and mark an order as suspicious or fraudulent, the order will be canceled and fully refunded within 24-48 hours. In addition, the email contact associated with the order will receive a cancellation and refund notification email in their inbox. These measures are necessary to safeguard our company, customers, and the future of Doing Darn Good. Limited cancellation timeline exceptions include but are not limited to weekends, US Holidays, and Holiday observation days.
