WRITTEN PATTERN
Start with a magic ring
Round 1: ch3 (counts as dc st through pattern), 2dc, ch2, *3dc, ch2 into the ring. Rep from * around 3 times. Join with a sl st into the 3rd ch from the beg ch3.
Sl st in the next 2 sts, sl st into the ch2 sp before starting round 2. This is where you will start your new round.
Round 2: ch3, [2dc, ch2, 3dc] into the ch2 sp, [3dc, ch2, 3dc into next ch2 sp] 3 times. End with a sl st into the 3rd ch from the beg ch3.
Round 3: ch3, [2dc, ch2, 3dc] into the ch2 sp, 3dc sts in every sp between the previous 3dc sts, *[3dc, ch2, 3dc] into next ch2 sp, 3dc sts in every sp between the previous 3dc sts. Rep from * around. End with a sl st into the 3rd ch from the beg ch3.
Rep Round 3 until desired size.
Things to remember:
Always sl st over to the next ch2 space to start your round.
The beginning ch3 counts as a dc stitch working the first corner [2dc, ch2, 3dc].
Work 3dc sts in every space between 3dc stitches on previous rounds.
Work [3dc, ch2, 3dc] in every corner.
Join with a slip stitch into the 3rd chain from the beginning ch3.
