It can be worn all year round (yes, please), with anything (from leggings to skirts), is unbelievably soft (thank you, Lace Weight Silk), and has the added bonus of fun, bell-like sleeves.

ASSEMBLE AND FINISH

Block pieces before assembling.

1) With right sides together, align front panels with top shoulders of back panel, making sure that the i-cord edging is on the inside (illustrated below). Use the three-needle BO to seam the shoulders of the front panels to the back panel.

2) Lay flat, right sides facing up. Line sleeves up with cardigan body and use the mattress stitch to seam them to the body (illustrated below). They should begin/end at the first, outermost row of the stockinette sections.

3) Again using mattress stitch, seam the sides of the body together and continue down the length of the sleeves.

Weave in all your ends, and do a little happy dance because you are finished!
